Spring Term

M&S Packet Perfect Workshop

To support our Science topic on materials, M&S came in to do a fantastic workshop all about the materials they use for their packaging.

FIRE, FIRE!

Our topic this term is FIRE, FIRE! We are thinking about everything linked to fire. We've started our topic by going on a journey in a hot air balloon. We have made our very own hot air balloons and thought about how fire is used to help them fly. Our journey has taken us to volcanoes around the world and we have also been looking at other natural disasters. Eventually, our balloons will take us back in time to London where we will be finding out about the Great Fire of London.

We had a great visit from Warburtons. We found out all about the history of Warburtons and how it all began. The children were lucky enough to make their very own bread hedgehogs. They were delicious!

Mr Buggy's visit to Year 2

We were very lucky to have a visit from the school governor, Mr Buggy. Year 2 interviewed him about his role and some children took him on a tour of the school. Thank you Mr Buggy!
