Please modify the timetable to suit you and your family!

We'll be having a couple of choices for phonics from now on!

If you think you're ready for more of a challenge, you also have the option of looking at our next phonics phase, phase 3! We'll be moving onto Phase 3 once we're all back in school, so anything that you cover will be covered again with the whole class.

Please only choose this option if you are confident with reading and writing all the sounds in Phase 2;

Phase 3 Lesson - Learn how to read 'z'

Training your brain to read tricky words:

Everyday we're going to be taking a closer look at our tricky words!

We've now looked at all the words for Phase 2; I, no, go, the, to, into.

So today, it's time to play some games! You can come up with your own ideas, but here's some you might want to try wink

yes Can you write your tricky words on post-it notes (or paper) and hide them around the house for someone to find? Create and engage in a word hunt for all your tricky words!

yes Can you play snap with your tricky words? You'll need two sets of words cut out on paper to play!

yes Can you play 'memory' with your two sets of words? Lay them out and see if you can make a match, the person with the most matching pairs of words wins!

yes Do you have a white crayon around your house and some paint? If you do, why not write your tricky words in white crayon on white paper, then you could paint over them to reveal the invisible word!

1: To get your brain ticking away, have a go at this game 'Count The Yeti'! Click on the picture below, choose your level and count the yeti before the timer runs out! Have fun laugh

2: Next, watch our lesson video below with Mrs. Sowden.

Remember to show me on tapestry if you can!

For PE today, you can choose between following along to Joe Wicks or you could do a Cosmic Yoga video! See the links below J

If you don’t fancy doing these activities, you can always choose to be active in any other way you enjoy, e.g. football, a walk, dancing or helping out in the garden!
