- Important9 February 2024Sensory RoomDear Parents & Carers, We are delighted with our brand new sensory room that Mr Parker has created for us. He is so talented and always working on a new project to improve school. We are so grateful for all his hard work and know that the children really appreciate it too. Sensory rooms provide a safe and supportive space for neurodivergent and disregulated students to escape the potentially overwhelming environment of a busy classroom. This encourages those students to succeed socially and academically and can provide them with tools and coping skills to learn more effectively. The calm environment of a sensory room may also help students with behavioural difficulties. This really is a great addition to school.
